The construction of Hill Crest offered unique challenges due to the steep and rocky terrain of the building site. Using a cut and fill approach, the site was sculpted to maximize the spectacular views of Shelburne Farms and the Adirondack mountains. Hill Crest has many interesting architectural features: vaulted curved wood ceilings, a beautiful outdoor room with a spectacular stone fire place, and subtle touches like the flared roof eves. JB Construction, Inc is extremely proud of attaining the four-star energy rating, making this one of our most environmentally efficient homes.
